In collaboration with the architect Simone Cioni and Paolo Ceccanti we realized the entire lighting design for the new conference room in the multi-center building in Perignano Cioni Building. It is a lighting design innovative entirely realized with LED technology with a considerable saving in terms of energy and a high level of visual comfort. The project was developed on the need to enhance the shape of the original plaster designed by Cioni and subdivisions of three lines of light that is scenography marry perfectly with the needs of normal activities within a conference room. The alternation of different shades of light and color are then offered an exciting topic of light that has accentuated the originality of the architecture and decor.

Specification of the lighting project Cioni Building

The lighting project dedicated to the conference room of Building Cioni has been developed on three main lines of light that have characterized three possible events within the hall itself. A first line of light was given for general illumination of the space, a second enhancement of the original geometry of the plasterboard made and finally the third was dedicated to the vision of audio and video screenings.

In a project would have been used a series of monochromatic LED strip with a color temperature for neutral geometric shapes placed at the center of the room, this solution gave rise to real bright islands.

To promote instead the presence of broken lines to present alternate sides of all the shapes of plasterboard were installed a series of recessed rectangular profile with LED technology and an output not exceeding 40W. This solution has provided vertical shafts of light without UV rays that have amplified the effect of diffuse light patterns on the ceiling. The last line of light instead was obtained with a series of colored LED strip, in a highly saturated blue, which have offered a very emotional stage design can be used both as signaling that as the light of vision for the projection of the video inside of the room conference.
